Fresh from Miguel Atwood-Ferguson
Soweto is back with another hour of the best in jazz, and author of 'But Beautiful: A Book about Jazz' Geoff Dyer is back with his second album pick of the week for 4/4.
Soweto hears from his 4/4 guest from Monday to Thursday this week, author and jazz enthusiast Geoff Dyer, as he shares a second jazz album that is meaningful to him. Tonight, he chooses a record that showcases a formidable musical partnership between an American saxophonist and a Bulgarian pianist.
Plus there is music from Flock, Brian Auger & Julie Driscoll, and Roller Trio.
‘Round Midnight is presented by award-winning saxophonist Soweto Kinch. This weekday late-night show celebrates the thriving UK jazz scene and spotlights the best new music alongside incredible acts from past decades.
