Cloudwalker at the London Jazz Festival

The brilliant young jazz saxophonist Emma Rawicz has assembled a formidable and truly international line-up for her CLOUDWALKER project. Along with her regular collaborators Rasmus Sørensen, Freddie Jensen and Marc Michel, Emma is joined at the EFG Jazz Festival by the star American trumpeter Philip Dizack as she explores the boundaries of what is possible in the quintet. And, as its name suggests, CLOUDWALKER embraces a sky-bound musical vision, with the band reaching upward toward an expansive and unbounded creative landscape with a mix of Nordic clarity, contemporary classical harmony, rock-driven intensity and Brazilian grooves.

Recorded earlier this month at King's Place in London and presented from the stage by Al Ryan as part of EFG London Jazz Festival.
