Ed’s ‘Soapbox Corner’ is now entering its third successful week with a gratifying nine complaints thus far.
Garnering inspiration for these weekly observations can often be had at the local swimming pool, which also has the benefit of cost-efficient radiators on which to dry one’s washing.
Thus, Ed heads to the pool where he soon strikes up a friendship with a likeminded chap in the form of Derek, who is not only a big fan of Ed’s work, but a keen writer.
With a warning from Ping ringing in his ears, Ed decides it’s time to collaborate, something he hasn’t done since the early 80s.
