Foreign Secretary William Hague: UK under cyber-attack

Attempts by cyber-criminals and hostile intelligence agencies to attack the British government have been revealed by the foreign secretary.

William Hague told a conference in Munich about a failed attempt to steal data from a UK defence contractor.

In his speech, Mr Hague also went into detail about some other recent attacks to which systems in the UK have been exposed.
